New Growth

German Support

The organization managed to produce clothing for an event held in Gulu City  Oktoberfest courtesy of Gulu City Council, Rotary Club of Gulu City and the City of Bavaria Munich.

The dresses made by Wend Africa being modeled in Bavaria City. Team from Germany Visit the workshop at Wend Africa and the German Ambassador to Uganda.

Rotary International

As part of sustainability with the support of grant from Rotary international through Rotary Club of Encinitas the organization was able to acquire an Embroidery Machine and this machine will be able to increase income for the organization. The women going through the training.

Medical & Nodding Support

The Nodding Syndrome kids get monthly support like a play therapy program, detergents, food stuff, beside a routine checkup by medical Team from University of Texas Health San  Antonio and the Medical team from Uganda. This program is supported by individuals who provide monthly support and CultureX that provide support for the play therapy program.

Medical out outreach in the villages to the family of Nodding Syndrome by medical team from UT Health San Antonio led by Dr Covington. Nodding Kids display their soap after play therapy and nodding patients being examined by Dr Achiro Harriet from Gulu Regional Referral Hospital.
